Patrícia Coelho, Portuguese female illustrator

Patrícia Coelho was born in Paris, France, in 1981.

Graduation in Communication Design by the "Faculdade de Belas-Artes" of Lisbon, Portugal. She attended in 2004 a “Graphics Summer School” at the Central Saint Martin’s School of Art and Design, in London, United Kingdom.

In 2007 she illustrated the children's book “A Princesa e o Sapo” for a publisher's collection in Portugal.

She has been collaborating since then and on a regular basis with "Dupla Arte Produções", in the area of children's theatre. Their first team work started with the play “O Jardim das Fábulas” staged in 2007.

She works as communication designer in Lisbon.

Patrícia Coelho illustrated the children's book Le Théâtre des animaux, a play by the Portuguese female author Dulce Rodrigues.

Patrícia Coelho also made the graphical layout and illustrations of the juveniles website www.barry4kids.net created by the author.
